Fire
Extinguisher Maintenance and Servicing.
The British Standards Code Of Practice indicates
that fire extinguishers should be maintained annually
with regular servicing.
Our trained engineer can provide you with a service
log book. Along with this, to ensure your business
is fully covered and compliant with current British
Standards, certificates are issued after each service
visit.
To make things easier for you we record your annual
service date on to our computer log. We then contact
you nearer the time, and arrange a visit to ensure
that the appropriate servicing is carried out. |

of Extinguishers
Below are listed the main types of fire extinguishers
we provide, with a short description of usage
to help you assess your need for fire fighting
equipment.
All equipment is provided
with a 5 year manufacturers warranty, wall mounted,
and Kite marked to-BSEN3.
Each fire extinguisher type protects against different
fire risks within the working environment.
WATER
For general carbonaceous materials, located in
exit routes/corridors etc.
CO2
To protect against electrical risks.
POWDER
Suitable, and safe to use on most types of fire.
FOAM
To extinguish fires fuelled by liquefiable solids
and flammable liquids.
KITCHEN FIRE EXTINGUISHER
Now available and a MUST for all commercial kitchens,
the new WET CHEMICAL extinguisher is now available
to order. Hot fats in the kitchen can reach temperatures
of 360 degrees and this is the most effective
extinguisher to deal with a dangerous situation
safely and effectively.
The kitchen fire extinguisher does this by putting
a crust over the fire, thus starving the oxygen
and extinguishing the fire.
